Venturo Crane Manufacturing Celebrates Most Important Asset!
Venturo Manufacturing really understands the most important asset to any business is the people that make up the Company! Jim Panko recently announced his retirement after 40 years of loyal service to Venturo. Jim was hired by Ron and Larry Collins on December 12, 1968 into Collins Truck Equipment.
Jim has held several positions within the Company during his 40 years of employment, everything from building and assembling cranes to inventory control of Hoist and Liftgate parts to finally wrapping up his career in Parts Sales.
The Company held an informal celebration and grill out for Jimmy on August 8 th and will be holding another celebration toward the end of August in which a formal presentation will be made by the Owners of the Company to honor Jimmy and his extensive service to Venco/Venturo Manufacturing.
“Our competitors can purchase the same equipment we have, they can purchase raw materials for the same vendors, but they do not have our employees” said Ron Collins, “our employees are our greatest competitive advantage, the lights in the buildings do not come on until someone flips the switch and Jimmy has been flipping the switch for the last 40 years.”
Please join us in wishing Jim Panko a wonderful retirement as he heads off to the fishing lake with his grandchildren and a bucket of worms.
